Job Description
We are searching for qualified candidates for a current Medical Assistant opportunity available through our largest healthcare client in Maine centrally located in is a perfect directhire opportunity for Medical Assistants who might be looking for a change of pace or for those who are looking to gain valuable experience in a busy local family :Rooming a patient/After rooming a patient protocolOpening rooms following safe and proper techniqueDownloading Pillcam and Bravo reportsMailing prep kitsSending daily schedule report to transcription serviceCleaning/Closing exam roomsDownloading and entering PIFs from paper and through the portalMailing preps and consult paperworkAssigning unassigned patientsUse of video interpretation machinePerform other duties as : Proficient in medical terminology and coding Knowledge of anatomy physiology and basic life support techniques Ability to accurately measure vital signs and record patient information Experience in patient care including assisting with procedures and treatments Familiarity with medication administration techniques Strong attention to detail and ability to follow instructions accurately Excellent communication skills both verbal and written Ability to work well in a fastpaced environment and prioritize tasks effectivelyExperience Required:Ideally looking for candidates with a current MA certification but not requiredOpen to candidates who are either currently completing externship hours or wanting to obtain necessary externship hoursJob Type: FulltimePay: $20.00 $23.00 per hourExpected hours: 40 per weekBenefits:401(k)401(k) matchingDental insuranceHealth insuranceLife insurancePaid time offVision insuranceSchedule:8 hour shiftDay shiftMonday to FridayAbility to Commute:Scarborough ME 04070Work Location: In person
