Job Description
University Student Success offers programs services and interactions that guide students in making informed and timely decisions to achieve their academic career and personal goals. We are hiring multiple Academic Advisors across our collegebased success teams as part of a cohortstyle onboarding and training model. Each Academic Advisor will report to a designated College Student Success Director and will play a key role in advising and retaining freshman and sophomore students. Advisors will support students in specific academic programs and collaborate with colleagues on their College Success Team. In addition Academic Advisors will contribute to universitywide initiatives that foster student engagement success and student persistence across the APSU campus community. Austin Peay State University is a fouryear public doctorallevel university with six colleges and four Chairs of Excellence. The University has an enrollment of over 10000 students and is located in Clarksville Tennessee a community of an estimated 180000 people located approximately 40 miles northwest of Nashville TN.
