The Angular Engineer Role
As a Front End Engineer at Send youll play a pivotal role in shaping the user experience of our underwriting workbenchthe heart of our SaaS platform. This is an exciting opportunity to work with Angular and modern frontend technologies to deliver intuitive highperforming interfaces that bring complex insurance workflows to life. Youll contribute to new feature development improve existing UI components and help drive design and usability across the platform.

About Send
In 2017 the three founders of Send (Andy Moss Ben Huckel and Matt McGrillis) had a vision to reshape and enhance the underwriting processes of commercial insurers by fusing advanced technology and deep expertise.

2024: Named a Top Provider in the Datos P&C Workbench report and a Leader in the Celent Underwriting Workbench reports in both North America and Global Markets.

Our Funding
From 2017 to 2022 we bootstrapped our growth journey transforming into a profitable and stable company. In November 2022 after a year of customer and team growth we successfully obtained $10m in Series A funding to accelerate our expansion in the UK and US and our product development. We enjoy the support and expertise of our investors Mercia and Breega.
We are currently preparing our Series B funding round and looking forward to the growth acceleration this will facilitate.
The Send Team
In the past year Send has experienced remarkable team growth expanding by over 50% to a team of 80. At the start of 2024 our team was based in the UK and Poland. Weve taken significant strides towards establishing a global presence and now have team members across the US India and Ireland all working collaboratively to be the marketleading underwriting software platform for agile insurers.
What Youll Be Doing as an Angular Engineer
Building and maintaining highquality scalable Angular components that power our underwriting workbench.
Creating clean responsive and accessible user interfaces that deliver a seamless user experience.
Writing modular packageready code as part of our Nx monorepo.
Collaborating closely with backend engineers product managers and designers to turn requirements into elegant frontend solutions.
Writing and maintaining unit and endtoend tests using Jest and Playwright.
Participating in code reviews and contributing to frontend best practices and standards.
Troubleshooting and resolving UI bugs and performance issues across different browsers and devices.
Supporting the evolution of our design system and helping ensure visual and functional consistency across the platform.
The Skills and Experience Needed for the Angular Engineer Role
Strong handson experience with JavaScript and TypeScript with a solid understanding of type safety and modern frontend development practices.
Proven track record of delivering clean maintainable and welltested Angular code in a commercial environment.
Experience working with state management libraries in largescale applicationsideally NgRx.
A good eye for UI detail and experience building responsive userfriendly interfaces.
Confidence in writing unit and endtoend tests with a proactive approach to ensuring code quality.
Skilled at identifying debugging and resolving frontend issues across various environments.
Strong collaboration and communication skillsyoull work closely with BackEnd Developers QA Engineers Business Analysts and Product Owners.
A selfmotivated mindset comfortable working independently and as part of a closeknit agile team.
