Healthcare Assistant
Salary: 25000 per annum
Hours: 37.5 hours per week

Our client a domiciliary care service is looking for a kind committed and reliable Healthcare Assistant to join their team. This is a rewarding opportunity for someone who is passionate about providing highquality care and support to individuals in their own homes helping them live with dignity independence and comfort.

As part of a dedicated and friendly care team the successful candidate will play a vital role in enhancing the lives of people in the communityoffering not just practical help but emotional reassurance and a familiar caring presence.

What Were Looking For

  • A Level 2 qualification or higher in Health and Social Care (essential)
  • Genuine passion for supporting others and a personcentred approach to care
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • A flexible reliable and compassionate attitude
  • Previous experience in a domiciliary or community care setting is desirable but not essential

Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver highquality care in accordance with individual care plans
  • Support clients with personal care mobility medication prompts and meal preparation
  • Build trusting relationships with clients and their families offering both practical and emotional support
  • Promote independence dignity and respect in every interaction
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues and care coordinators to ensure consistent safe care delivery
  • Accurately record care notes and report any changes in health or wellbeing
