Job Description
Must be currently enrolled at an accredited college or university and in good academic standing
This is a temporary position involving various duties that will supplement the students major field of study &/or provide experience that is a useful addition to the students education & meaningful preparing for future professional employment.
Rate of pay is based upon the students academic status (determined by the college or university):
Freshman and Sophomore Students $19.50 per hour
Junior and Senior Students $20.00 per hour.
Graduate Students $24.00 per hour.
This position is overtime eligible based on FLSA Standards.
This position is unclassified per Section 124.11(A)(29).
The final candidate selected for this position will be required to undergo a criminal background check. An individual assessment of an applicants prior criminal convictions will be made before excluding an applicant from consideration.

What You Will Do:
You will participate in environmental field surveys including ecological inventory endangered species surveys jurisdictional determinations stream & wetland delineations & stream & wetland mitigation investigations. - You will assist Environmental Specialists in the data collection preparation review & processing of environmental documents & coordination packages (e.g. agency coordination packages waterway permits ecological survey reports stream & wetland survey reports mitigation plans etc.).
You will conduct research update guidance manuals and help prepare training materials.
