Job Description
Federated Cooperatives Limited (FCL) is hiring an Import Operations Associate on a permanent basis on our Supply Chain team.
This position is a hybrid opportunity andis based in Saskatoon SK.
We are looking for a detailoriented proactive person to support and streamline our international supply chain processes.
What youll do:
- Maintain system rates and routing for all inbound movement of import stock products.
- Request rate proposals from the carrier industry for international freight movement and ensure the use of the most costeffective method of handling for the CRS.
- Arrange and coordinate the movement of all offshore purchases for stock.
- Facilitate overseas freight shipments by ensuring correct documentation and import permits have been obtained verifying proper routing is in place and documents are sent within the required time limits.
- Liaise with third party brokers to ensure compliance on imported products.
- Monitor shipments to confirm containers are moving in an expedient fashion. Maintain lanes and rates in system.
- Work closely with Vendors Buyers and Broker in arranging & maintaining CUSMA. Respond to CFIA Or Other Government Departments/ Agencies for any audits and review issues as they arise.
- Verify as well as update HS code and custom duties in the system also maintain records.
- Assist Senior Logistics Associate when required cross train and provide vacation coverage.
- Other duties as required.

You will collaborate closely with the Senior Logistics Associate and thirdparty logistics brokers to ensure regulatory compliance accurate documentation and the timely delivery of goods.

Who you are:
You are looking for a career in Supply Chain and:
- Have 5 years related freight or dispatch experience. Experience with Oracle Transport Management and Mainframe would be an asset.
- Have a 2 year diploma in Supply Chain or Logistics (a combination of relevant education and experience may be considered).
- Have a CCLP Designation.
- Are familiar with import logistics and customs brokerage.
