What impact you will have

As a Field Services Technician you will be on the front lines of Submers deployments across the United States. Youll be responsible for installing commissioning maintaining and supporting Submer systems onsite at datacenters and client facilities. This is a dynamic travelheavy role ideal for someone with strong electromechanical skills customerfacing professionalism and a drive to solve realworld challenges.

What youll do

  • Perform onsite installation commissioning and testing of Submers systems.
  • Execute preventive and corrective maintenance tasks.
  • Support troubleshooting and root cause analysis for hardware plumbing and electrical systems.
  • Interface directly with customers contractors and project teams to ensure smooth deployments and service delivery.
  • Ensure compliance with safety standards and local site protocols.
  • Document all site activities including installations interventions and system updates.
  • Provide remote support or onsite escalation when required.
  • Collaborate with engineering and product teams to report issues and suggest design improvements.
  • Maintain tools spare parts and test equipment in good working order.
  • Assist in training clients or partners on proper operation and maintenance procedures.
  • When onsite in our Houston office support our product engineering assembly and testing lab activities.


What youll need

  • 8 years of experience in field services datacenter operations or industrial system installation (e.g. HVAC mechanical or electrical systems).
  • Technical training in electromechanical engineering HVAC electrical systems or related field preferred.
  • Experience working in missioncritical environments (datacenters clean rooms industrial systems) is a strong plus.
  • Solid understanding of electrical mechanical and plumbing (MEP) systems.
  • Solid understanding of PLC coding principles and capable of making basic edits or adjustments (though not experienced in fullscale PLC programming or development)
  • Strong handson troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Comfortable reading technical drawings schematics and manuals.
  • Clear confident communication skills with a customerfirst attitude.
  • Ability to work independently in remote highpressure environments.
  • Willingness to travel up to 75% across the U.S. sometimes internationally.
  • Fluent in English.
