Job Description
Due to rapid growth within the business OCU Group are currently recruiting for a National Grid Competent Person to join us in Neath!
This role plays a crucial part in ensuring the safety and efficiency of electrical infrastructure.
Key Responsibilities:
- Ensure compliance with National Grid safety standards and regulations.
- Conduct inspections and maintenance of electrical infrastructure.
- Perform risk assessments and implement safety measures.
- Assisting with site operations deliveries and general supervision as needed
- Respond to emergencies and outages promptly and effectively.
- Maintain accurate records and documentation.
Qualifications:
- Proven experience as a National Grid Competent Person.
- A National Grid Competency Card (NS16 / NS18)
- Strong knowledge of National Grid safety protocols and procedures.
- Relevant certifications and training.
- Excellent problemsolving and decisionmaking skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
