ASIC Design Engineer
Location: Santa Clara CA (Onsite)
Overview of the Role
As an ASIC Design Engineer you will play a crucial role in the development and optimization of our cuttingedge ASIC solutions. Your work will directly impact the efficiency performance and scalability of our products driving forward the companys objectives and contributing to technological innovations that shape the industry.
Detailed Responsibilities
- Run and manage Fusion Compiler ICC II and Innovus to ensure optimal ASIC design and implementation
- Analyze and understand PPA (Power Performance Area) tradeoffs throughout the ASIC flow
- Develop and maintain scripts using Tcl Perl and Python for automated physical design flow (APR)
- Oversee APR to signoff flows including StarRC PT Tempus and other relevant tools
- Collaborate with CAD teams or provide support to EDA to ensure seamless integration and functionality
Skill Requirements
- Extensive experience with Fusion Compiler ICC II Innovus
- Indepth understanding of PPA tradeoffs in ASIC design
- Proficiency in scripting languages such as Tcl Perl and Python
- Expertise in APR to signoff flows (StarRC/PT/Tempus/etc.)
- Previous experience in ASIC design CAD teams or EDA support
