Job Description
Travel RN MedSurg / Telemetry Contract Position
We are seeking a Registered Nurse MedSurg / Telemetry for a 13weeks travel/contract assignment in Cambridge MA 02138.
Job Details:
- Shift: Rotating Day/Nights
- Guaranteed Hours: 36 hours per week
- Pay Rate: $2160 $2340
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide direct patient care using the nursing process in accordance with hospital policies and procedures
- Monitor assess and document patients conditions in a MedSurg/Telemetry environment
- Administer medications and treatments accurately and timely
- Collaborate with physicians nursing team members and other healthcare professionals
- Educate patients and families regarding conditions medications and discharge planning
- Float between various MedSurg units and occasionally to Addison Gilbert Hospital as required
- Maintain patient safety and quality standards at all times
- Respond effectively to emergencies and changing patient needs
Experience Requirements:
- 2 years of recent MedSurg/Telemetry RN experience
- Epic and Tele experience required
Education License and Certifications:
- Active Massachusetts RN License Required
- BLS (Basic Life Support) Required
- ACLS (Advanced Cardiovascular Life Support) Required
- Associate or Bachelors Degree in Nursing (ASN or BSN) from an accredited nursing program
