Job Description
Trade Compliance Lead TCRS4443
HIGH LEVEL OVERVIEW
The Trade Compliance Lead will be the subject matter expert for all international trade related activities ensuring compliance with U.S. Customs and other government rules and regulations.
This is a hybrid position based near Atlanta GA.
EXPECTATIONS
- Identify and mitigate risks related to trade compliance
- Develop and maintain procedures for import and export activities and record keeping
- Manage customs brokers create SOPs and monitor KPIs
- In depth knowledge of U.S CBP rules and regulations; HTS/ECCN COO Valuation FTA etc.
- Experience with PGAs including FDA USDA TSCA APHIS
- Build and maintain HTS classification database
- Provide guidance on regulatory changes impacting trade and implement effective processes
- Conduct Restricted Party Screening
- Collaborate with cross functional teams and establish strong professional relationships
- Operational knowledge of post entry audit corrections and responding to CF28/29
- Proficient with MS365
ESSENTIALS
- Bachelors degree in international business Supply Chain Law or a related field
- 10 years experience in Trade Compliance
- Licensed Customs Broker or similar certification preferred
- Ability to make decisions in ambiguous situations
- Strong analytical problemsolving and decisionmaking skills
