This is a hybrid position requiring scheduled days in the Washington DC area.
What You Will Do:
- This position will be part of a large AGILE team and lead DBAs and visualization engineers supporting a large federal program.
- Work directly with Architects development team DevSecOps and customer to ensure technical and mission milestones are met.
- You will create complex queries across multiple tables to generate data feeds needed for calculated metrics. Tune inquiries for performance.
- Create BI dashboards composed of multiple reports/charts along with parameterized settings
- Create work streams mentor staff and ensure adherence to customer and technical excellence.
What You Need:
- College Degree in a related area. Experience may be substituted.
- 5 years providing database engineering support in the federal government.
- Proficient in using of windowing functions within SQL or Python. Proficient in Python Pandas including transformation functions. Experience in tuning db queries for performance.
- Experience in creating BI dashboards composed of multiple reports/charts along with parameterized settings and creating data sources in given BI tools (Tableau PowerBI). Understanding dimensional relationships and how to structure them in BI tool. Proficient at a variety of BI report templates including crosstabs charts and conditional filtering
- Experience working in a formal AGILE environment leading teams and working with Federal customer.
