Job Description

Summary:

The Marketing Coordinator at The Capital Hotel plays a pivotal role in promoting our property and enhancing our online presence. Youll collaborate closely with the Director of Sales & Marketing to create engaging content manage social media accounts and support various marketing initiatives.

Responsibilities:

  • Social Media Management:
    • Develop and execute social media strategies to increase brand awareness and engagement.
    • Create and curate compelling content for various platforms including Facebook Instagram Twitter and Linkedln.
    • Monitor and respond to comments messages and reviews to maintain a positive online reputation.
    • Track social media metrics and provide regular performance reports.
  • Content Creation/Design:
    • Generate captivating written and visual content for blog posts newsletters and website updates.
    • Design eyecatching graphics flyers and promotional materials using Canva or Adobe CreativeSuite.
    • Collaborate with the sales & marketing team to ensure a consistent and appealing brand image.
    • Assist in planning and executing marketing campaigns including special promotions events and partnerships.
  • Market Research:
    • Stay updated on industry trends competitors and emerging marketing strategies.
    • Provide insights and recommendations based on market research findings.
    • Ensure media and partners lists are accurate updated and well maintained.
  • Marketing Support:
    • Act as the property Ambassador for The Capital Hotel adhere to property guidelines in communications internal & external.
    • Support the Director of Sales & Marketing in maintaining effective internal communications to ensure that all relevant hotel departments are kept informed of marketing/communications objectives and initiatives.
    • Assist in the coordination of marketing and communications activities to leverage results as directed.
    • Assist in the marketing and execution of internal events executed by the Food & Beverage team.
    • Other related marketing activities as assigned.
    • Collaborate with external vendors and agencies as needed.
