Job Description

Primary Job Objective/Job Summary:


The Grants & Programs Manager is responsible for managing and fostering relationships with internal and external partners to support the organizations goals. This role will identify research respond manage and administer potential and executed grants contracts and programs and will drive both programmatic and resource development strategies to execute against organizational objectives. The Grants & Programs Manager works closely with crossfunctional teams and senior leadership to align outreach programming and fundraising activities to maximize organizational impact.

Essential Functions:

Grants & Project Management:
Research potential sources of revenue including prospective partners grants contracts feeforservice programs training opportunities etc.
Manage SCTs workflow for identifying applying for administering coordinating supervising and monitoring all revenue sources within applicable standards regulations and guidelines.
Analyze and recommend outreach event requests from external organizations to evaluate their relevance and alignment with SC Thrives mission.
Manage key workspaces in including partner management revenue pipeline and grant/contract deliverables among others.
Manage the creation and delivery of new and renewing partner contracts ensuring timely renewals and compliance.
Support SCT staff with followup for securing new partnerships grants and contracts with a focus on maintaining current relationships and agreements.
Manage all funder reporting processes in coordination with Data and Reporting team ensuring timely and accurate reports at all times.
Facilitate clear communication with staff potential and current partners to ensure a thorough understanding of contract terms addressing any questions or concerns.
Analyze workflows to identify potential inefficiencies and offer solutions for targeted improvement.

Program Management:
In partnership with SCT leadership identify design and implement programs that drive growth and sustainability for the organization align with SCTs mission and expand our ability to impact the communities we serve.
Oversee the management and coordination of programs run by SCT staff ensuring execution is effective efficient and aligned with SCT mission and strategic plans.
Research available programs to be added to ThriveHub to better support clients and partners.
Review and respond to emails in the SC Thrive contact account.

Data & Reporting:
Support the Data and Reporting Team when needed with data scrubbing and Department of Health and Human Services reports.
Collect and compile Contact Center data to create Daily Call Reports ensuring timely electronic delivery to state partners and SC Thrive leadership.
Ensure accuracy in the reporting of SNAP outreach events by SNAP partners identifying and communicating reporting errors and providing support to ensure accurate and timely monthly report submissions.
Attend meetings webinars conferences outreach events and training refresher courses as requested.

SC Thrive Functions:
Become a trained SC Thrive Counselor with the ability to perform client intake interviews and complete applications as well as determine how to expand and best implement usage of Thrive Hub within partner agencies.
Become fully knowledgeable and able to present at numerous speaking engagements on SC Thrives work.
Participate in high leverage state and national coalitions events conferences etc. to promote SC Thrives work.
Become knowledgeable in all aspects of Thrive Hub and all other SC Thrive trainings.
Stay current on industry and organization trends products competitive activity and customer needs.
Efficiently use Office 365 to include Outlook Word Excel PowerPoint and SharePoint and other SC Thrive technologies such as and secure signature platforms
Other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and Experience Required:

Bachelors degree in Social Work Humanities Business or related field; or equivalent five years of experience.
Minimum of five years relevant work experience.
Strong writing skills and communication skills.
Strong interpersonal and critical thinking abilities.
Strong technological aptitude.
Exhibits strong administrative skills and attention to detail.
Handles a wide variety of activities and confidential matters with discretion.
Maintains a friendly approachable and professional demeanor showing patience and empathy.
Thrives in a fastpaced environment with routinely shifting demands.
Comfortable working in diverse environments with people from various socioeconomic backgrounds and cooperatively in a team setting.
Shows commitment to the mission values and aspirations of the organization.
Remains poised under pressure deals with difficult situations while maintaining performance and professionalism and adapts to changing work environments seeking support when necessary.

Preferred Qualifications and Experience:

Experience researching and writing grants and proposals.
Experience with or other CRM/project management software.
Experience or knowledge of federal and state programs and benefits.


Working Conditions and Physical Demands:

The job will usually be performed in a standard office environment but travel will be required. Occasional work outside standard business hours including nights overnights and weekends will be required for special projects and events. Occasionally travels and works in outdoor weather conditions. Must be able to remain stationary 70% of the time. This individual must occasionally move about inside the office to access filing cabinets office equipment etc. constantly operates a computer and other office productivity equipment such as calculators printers etc. frequently position themselves to maintain files in file cabinets and effectively communicate accurate information and ideas in a manner others understand in these situations. This person must be able to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer) and occasionally move boxes up to 20 pounds across the office for various purposes.
