Business Development Manager Freight Forwarding

Location: Sutton Coldfield
Salary: 40000 Uncapped Bonus
Job Type: Permanent Fulltime Officebased Monday to Friday

Are you a driven B2B sales professional with a background in freight forwarding Do you thrive on building new client relationships and closing deals Were working with a dynamic and wellestablished freight forwarding business in the West Midlands that is expanding its team and looking for a highperforming Business Development Manager to fuel further growth.

The Opportunity:
As Business Development Manager your focus will be 100% on new business generation. This is a proactive outbound sales role where youll be identifying and converting new opportunities across air sea and road freight.


Key Responsibilities:
  • Proactively source and secure new business through cold calling outreach and networking
  • Develop and maintain a strong pipeline of freight forwarding prospects
  • Build and maintain relationships to maximise longterm value
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure smooth onboarding and delivery
  • Meet and exceed sales targets and KPIs
  • Represent the business with professionalism confidence and drive

What Were Looking For:
  • Minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience with a strong track record of winning new business
  • Experience in freight forwarding (air sea and/or road) is essential
  • Confident communicator with natural rapportbuilding skills
  • Selfstarter who thrives in a resultsdriven environment
  • Strong commercial awareness resilience and organisational skills
  • Ability to manage a structured pipeline and spot new opportunities
