About the Position



The Saint Paul Fire Department is looking for a knowledgeable Fire Buildings Repairer to join our team.

Heres what you can expect to do:

  • Performs preventive maintenance and repair work of building structures heating/air conditioning/plumbing systems equipment machinery appliances furniture and fixtures.
  • Fabricates equipment parts from raw stock such as special sheet metal ducts metal frames racks and shelving signs cabinets tools equipment boxes and training equipment.
  • Performs custodial duties to clean the Maintenance Shop and operates snow blowers and lawn mowers to maintain facilities.
