Responsibilities
- Provide First Aid/Outdoor Emergency Care Marking trails Opening trails Closing trails Sweeping trails Checking trails Guest Service
Qualifications
- Work outside in all weather conditions Able to lift 50lbs
- Proficient Skier and or Rider Ability to Ski/Ride in all conditions Strong Guest service skills Ability to work in a Team setting
- WV EMT or NREMT or OEC or WFR CPRFirst Aid
- Must be able to communicate fluently in English Must have excellent guest service skills Must have manual dexterity to operate equipment Must have sight speech and hearing abilities sufficient to learn skills follow and provide directions
- Responsible for performing guest service functions such as accident handling administering first aid trail maintenance promoting and creating a safe environment for guests and employees mountain sweeps lift evacuation. Manage budgets coordinate training for volunteer ski patrols and liaise with relevant departments.
- Manage Ski Patrol employees and activities. Maintain accurate records and documentation of Patrollers assure that Patrollers qualifications are current and provide direction and training for patrollers. Resolve guest service issues including safety. Perform other duties related to the position as asked by the Mountain Operations Manager or General Manager.
