The Job:
Production Scheduling:
- Develop and update production orders based on customer orders demand forecasts and inventory levels.
- Monitor production progress and adjust orders as needed to accommodate changes in demand or production delays. This can include Offsite Service providers and external processes.
- Inventory Coordination:
- Process raw material receipts to facilitate production order creation and update reports for MRP calculations and material usage.
- Work with the warehouse inventory and procurement teams to ensure the availability of raw materials and components required for production.
CrossFunctional Collaboration:
- Communicate effectively with other departments to resolve any productionrelated issues during daily Production meetings.
- Collaborate with procurement quality assurance and logistics teams to ensure alignment of production activities.
Data Management and Reporting:
- Maintain accurate records of production orders inventory levels and other relevant data.
- Generate reports as and when needed on production performance and provide insights to support decisionmaking.
Process Improvement:
- Support opportunities for improving production efficiency and reducing lead times.
- Support the implementation of lean manufacturing principles and other process improvement initiatives.
Compliance and Quality:
- Ensure that production activities comply with company policies industry standards and safety regulations.
- Assist in quality control processes to maintain product standards by creating rework Orders as needed to maintain production plans.
The Person:
- Minimum of 24 years of experience in production planning or a similar role in a manufacturing environment.
- Enterprise Resource Planning or Material Resource Planning experience is preferred.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Demonstrated capability working with Microsoft Office suite of products.
- Excellent time management and interpersonal skills.
- High level of enthusiasm and a passion for excellence.
- Excellent oral/written communication skills and able to rely on experience to accomplish goals.
