For more than 26 years we have provided onsite educational services in hospitals helping these schoolage patients continue their education during treatment and reintegrate successfully into the classroom. Currently we are seeking a passionate and creative LBS1 teacher to join our team in Forest Park IL on a fulltime year round basis. This unique position will involve working in a fastpaced behavioral health facility providing academic support to adolescent schoolage patients in a small classroom setting as they receive treatment. In this role you will have the opportunity to plan and deliver daily lesson plans provide individualized assistance to students and regularly communicate about student progress as needed. Additionally you will monitor and adjust teaching strategies to ensure student success and maintain accurate attendance and session reports. Most of our class sizes range from 8 to 15 schoolage patients at any one time. Position entails a 40hour a week commitment MondayFriday 8am4:30pm (slightly flexible depending on candidates needs).
