Job Description

Title: IT Software Project Coordinator
Location: Phoenix AZ (inoffice)
Type: LongTerm contract


This role supports software lifecycle management by coordinating software requests managing licenses and maintaining asset records. The Software Asset Coordinator ensures compliance resolves user issues and facilitates communication across teams and vendors to support IT standards and strategy. The position will be fully onsite but could change to hybrid.


Your role:

  • Coordinate software acquisitions renewals budgets and licensing compliance activities.
  • Track software usage monitor license compliance and maintain accurate entitlement and inventory records.
  • Collaborate with vendors and internal teams to manage software changes and align with IT strategy.
  • Maintain and support approved software assets facilitating user requests and assisting with troubleshooting.
  • Respond to technical support inquiries via phone chat or email and advise users on proper procedures.
  • Research software questions document resolutions and escalate urgent issues as needed.
  • Follow IT governance standards and ensure issues are tracked routed and resolved efficiently.
  • Communicate software status updates and coordinate crossfunctional efforts to support ongoing asset management.


What youve got:

  • 12 years of experience in project coordination or management.
  • General knowledge of software licensing asset management tools and lifecycle processes.
  • Experience with ServiceNow and Google Suite; familiarity with IT ticketing systems and service desk workflows.
  • Strong documentation skills and attention to detail; ability to analyze license counts usage data and costs.
  • Experience supporting users troubleshooting and researching technical issues.
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills with the ability to work independently and manage multiple tasks.
  • Familiarity with IT concepts customer service best practices and software applications such as Microsoft and Google tools.
