Reliable Onsite Services a division of United Rentals has an excellent opportunity for a portable sanitation PickUp & Delivery Driver ready to grow their career with the leading company in the industry. Responsibilities include safely completing daily pickup and delivery routes in sequence as determined by Dispatch personnel. Pickup and deliver portable restrooms holding tanks fresh water systems hand wash stations and restroomshower trailers as needed. Responsible for completing routes while maintaining professional customer contact and open lines of communication with Dispatcher.
What youll do:
Follow all safety guidelines and procedures
Load deliver and set units in a safe spot where a route service truck may access unit for cleaning and where customer may easily access the unit for use
Pick up and remove units from various customer sites ensuring units are strapped safely and returned to shop to unload when route is completed
Quality check on all units and equipment verifying rent ready status prior to loading and delivering to customer
Fuel vehicles and other equipment as necessary
Perform pretrip/posttrip inspections on vehicles maintain truck logs
Frequent customer interaction including recommendations for any additional services and supplies needed
Excellent housekeeping of assigned vehicles and facility
Maintain professional demeanor and appearance at all times
Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
High School Diploma or equivalency
A valid drivers license clean driving record and ability to drive day or night
1 year of truck driving experience preferred (CDL license is preferred) DOT medical card must be obtained prior to commencing employment
Basic knowledge of the construction industry and safe driving procedures
Excellent customer service communication skills and positive attitude
Diligent attention to safety
Ability to mount and dismount trucks multiple times daily
Ability to frequently lift items up to 45 lbs
Work effectively in all weather conditions and customer work environments
Some weekend work may be required
Training is provided on products & services
This position is deemed Safety Sensitive for purposes of United Rentals policies and procedures.
