Job Description
About the Catering & Sales Position
Our company is looking for an experienced and energetic Person to join the team. As a Catering & Sales coordinator with Blue Sky youll be part of the planning process from A to Z. Youll meet with clients to learn what theyre looking for and from there youll organize an event that best suits their needs.
Responsibilities
Work closely with clients to understand requirements and desires for each event
Brainstorm and present event ideas to clients
Manage the event budget and all invoices
Book venues and schedule any notable guests such as speakers or musicians
Negotiate with sponsors and vendors
Oversee all event operations such as setting up the venue and preparing food and drink
Resolve conflicts as they arise
Obtain all necessary event permits
Manage postevent reports
Event Manager Requirements
2 years experience as an Event Manager
Excellent communication and marketing skills
Superb multitasking and organizational skills
Project management and leadership skills
Proficient with Microsoft Office and various event planning software
Portfolio of successful events preferred
Delphi knowledge preferred **
