About the Role

The Corporate Communications Manager develops and executes internal and external communication strategies that align with the organizations mission brand identity and business priorities. This role serves as a strategic partner across departments builds and protects the corporate brand supports leadership visibility manages organizational change communications and fosters engagement through thoughtful consistent and authentic messaging.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Develops and implements communicationsrelated policies and procedures that support proper representation of the organizations corporate identity and mission.
  • Leads corporate thought leadership efforts related to the definition and amplification of the organizations voice across internal and external platforms.
  • Responsible for the strategy development implementation and ongoing improvement of multichannel internal communications programs that align employees with corporate strategy values and goals.
  • Develops and leads the execution of (in partnership with the creative human resources and leadership teams) storytelling initiatives that highlight corporate values culture and strategic direction across visual media video audio and written content.
  • Establishes communication governance structures ensuring consistency in messaging tone and brand standards across all platforms.
  • Fully owns the structure of and content within the company intranet site; ensures clear communication ease of navigation and relevance of content.
  • Supports the executive team and other staff with intranet content creation and promotion to improve engagement; monitors engagement proactively and realigns strategy as needed.
  • Creates and delivers presentations for internal and external meetings and events.
  • Partners with the leadership team and human resources department to support organizational change initiatives with thoughtful and wellplanned communication.
  • Seeks new methods and creative strategies to increase internal and external awareness of the organizations priorities initiatives milestones and community building efforts.

Additional Responsibilities:

  • Assists with the maintenance of the company website as it relates to the clarity of information overall messaging and relevance of corporatebrand related content.
  • Analyzes communication metrics to track the effectiveness of campaigns and adjusts as needed.
  • Manages and cultivates relationships with local and national organizations that support our vision through partnerships; represents the organization in a variety of settings always maintaining professionalism and promoting the company in the best possible way.
  • Assists with the implementation of corporate social media strategy as needed ensuring that brand voice is clearly distinguished from product marketing efforts.
  • Acts as a corporate spokesperson and community liaison; this may include responding to media requests in a timely manner composing press releases and leading communitybuilding initiatives.
  • Performs other role related duties as assigned.

Requirements:

  • Bachelors degree in communications public relations marketing or related field.
  • 5 years of experience in corporate communications public relations or strategic communications.
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills; able to communicate effectively with both internal and external audiences.
  • Collaborates well and builds successful relationships with various stakeholders such as the executive team cross functional teams internally the media and the community at large.
  • Thinks creatively and adapts to difficult questions situations or changes in direction with ease.
  • Proficient with a variety of communications platforms and tools including social media.
  • Able to analyze information evaluate data and ask the right questions to develop effective communications strategies.
  • Organized with a strong attention to detail.
