Job Description
TriState Physical Therapy (TSPT) a division of TriState Orthopaedics & Sports Medicine is seeking a fulltime licensed Physical Therapist to join our wellestablished and growing physical therapy practice in our Seven Fields (Cranberry) office.
Founded in 2005 TSPT provides a full range of musculoskeletal rehab including physical occupational and hand therapy services to ensure quality and comprehensive rehabilitative care for our patients. With a high volume of patient referrals from the orthopaedic surgeons at TriState Orthopaedics our therapists dedicate the majority of their time to patient care not marketing. Therapists utilize stateoftheart techniques and equipment to provide each of our patients with an individualized and complete rehabilitation program. This coordination and continuity of care with close and constant communication among our physicians and therapists helps to enhance our patients recovery process.
TSPT has four convenient office locations with spacious gyms and advanced technology used by professional athletes including Aquatic Therapy Pilates IASTM for soft tissue mobilization and offers a variety of Sports Performance/Injury Prevention services for athletes. We also care for student athletes injured workers weekend warriors and our Medicareaged seniors. The ideal Physical Therapist candidate will have at least two years of outpatient orthopaedic experience and must also be an upbeat dynamic and outgoing individual excited about joining a busy and growing practice. New grads with strong orthopaedic knowledge and manual skills are welcome to apply. EMR experience is a plus. You will be responsible for providing the professional duties of a therapist which include but are not limited to:
- Adhere to a fulltime 40hour weekly work schedule in our Seven Fields office which includes rotational Saturday morning coverage.
- Provide physical therapy services including patient evaluations and followup treatment developing a plan of care and revising as necessary.
- Assist in returning patients to an optimum and productive level within the patients capabilities.
- Consult with physicians regarding progress and change in treatment and assist physician with evaluating level of function with the goal to achieve maximum function for every patient.
- Perform skilled evidencebased procedures as ordered by the treating physician.
- Prepare daily clinical notes and routine progress reports.
- Instruct patients and family regarding inhome exercise programs and activities of daily living.
- Supervise office Therapy Aides and ATCs.
