Collins Aerospaces Strategic Solutions team is looking for an exceptionally motivated Engineer that is passionate about collaborating with HighPerformance Teams to create mission critical solutions supporting Integrated Mission Systems.
Our Sr. Principal Software Product Owner/CAM Engineer will work in an exciting adaptive and engaging environment enabling rapid learning to drive success.
The candidate will serve as Product Owner and CAM for a Software Team Interacting with the Systems Engineering Team Software Architects Scrum Masters and Software Engineers supporting a large program. This position will support the shaping of the future of NC3 defense systems for the armed forces. This position is located onsite in Richardson TX.
What You Will Do:
You will act as Product Owner bridging the Software Team and the Systems Engineering Team helping us define and manage our backlog and execution.
You will work directly with the IPT Lead Scrum Masters and Software Engineers performing SoftwareSystems work used in a Mission Critical System program.
You will act as the CAM (Control Account Manager) for the scope related to your team ensuring flawless execution.
You will interact with crossfunctional teams and stakeholders in a large program.
You will have the opportunity to mentor Interns Junior Senior and Principal engineers.

Qualifications you must have:
Typically requires a degree in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and a minimum of 10 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 7 years of experience.
Previous experience as a Product Owner following Agile/SAFe (Scaled Agile Framework).
Previous experience with EVMS (Earned Value Management Systems).
Previous experience as a CAM (Control Account Manager).
Qualifications We Prefer:
Active and transferable U.S. government issued security clearance.
Experience with Agile SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle).
Experience with Requirements Management (Decomposition Derivation).
Experience as a SoftwareSystem engineer.
Experience with UML SysML MBSE and CAMEO Modeling tools.
Experience with Jira.
