Job Description

Imaging Service Engineer

Location: Miami FL

Job Description

The Imaging Service Engineer will be responsible for maintaining repairing and installing medical imaging equipment such as Xray machines CT scanners and MRI machines. They will work closely with medical staff to ensure that equipment is functioning properly and meets all safety standards. The Imaging Service Engineer will also be responsible for training medical staff on how to properly use the equipment and troubleshoot any issues that may arise.

Responsibilities

  • Maintain and repair medical imaging equipment such as MRI CT XRay and Ultrasound machines
  • Install new equipment and ensure it meets all safety standards
  • Train medical staff on how to properly use equipment
  • Troubleshoot any issues that may arise with equipment
  • Keep accurate records of all maintenance and repairs
  • Stay uptodate with new technology and advancements in medical imaging equipment

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in biomedical engineering or related field preferred.
  • Experience working with medical imaging equipment for a minimum of 7 years
  • Strong problemsolving skills
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Willingness to travel as needed
  • Must be authorized to work in the United States
  • Must pass background and drug screen.
