Role Overview

Hale Kipa is seeking a Case Worker for our Trafficked Victims Assistance Program (TVAP) on the island of Oahu. The Senior Case Manager will provide crisis response services intake assessment traumainformed and victim centered case management services supportive counseling and services to adult victims or youth victims and their parents/guardians/caregivers referred by the Child Welfare Services (CWS) and CWS Differential Response law enforcement Family Court or other sources. Services are delivered from a strengthsbased clientcentered culturally sensitive and appropriate developmental approach with particular attention to a TraumaInformed Approach.

The individual in this position is required to conduct him/herself in a professional and cordial manner that will uphold the integrity and reputation of Hale Kipa. This position maintains a thorough working knowledge of and adheres to organizational policies regulations and procedures

Qualifications

  • Masters Degree in Social Work Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution
  • OR Bachelors degree in Social Work Psychology or a related field from an accredited institution and a minimum of 1 year of experience working with victims of human/sex trafficking or a highly similar
    population.
  • Credentialed by the Child & Adolescent Mental Health Division (if applicable).

Requirements

  • A vehicle for the purpose of transporting youth
  • A valid drivers license
  • Current auto insurance and a safety check

Salary

  • $53000 annually
  • Retention Bonus $500 after 1 year of employment
