In this role the Mobility Programs Operations Manager will have overall responsibility for leading the overhaul and repair (MRO) shops supporting the worldwide fleet of the 1300 F117 engines in accordance with the terms of the F117 Engine Sustainment Support (ESS) contract. The selected individual will lead a team both in East Hartford and personnel at the engine depots to manage the repair of off wing engines across the service provider network designed to meet program objectives for Serviceable Propulsion Systems (spares) levels. The Operations Manager will also support the stand up of the depot network to support the PW4062 engines as they enter operational service on the KC46 Tanker fleet and help evolve the future of engine sustainment for this critical program.

What Will You Do

  • The selected individual will work with the F117 Deputy LPM Manager and the entire Mobility Team to ensure Quality Cost and Schedule objectives of the overhaul program are achieved.

  • Manage P&W and depot repair contract obligations and ensure production meets the requirements of the fleet.

  • Establish the engine induction plan coordinate transportation of engines to the depots and manage the production of engines to meet P&Ws financial plan.

  • Integrate across the materials and technical and fleet operations teams to support the production plan necessary to maintain the require spare engine levels.

  • Utilize CORE principles and controls required to ensure consistency of operational excellence across the existing depot network.

Qualifications You Must Have

  • BS degree in Operations or Science Technology Engineering and Math (STEM)

  • 14 years of operations management and/or program management or an advance degree with 12 year of operations management and/or program management

  • Must be a U.S. Citizen. This position may require access to systems/tools that are restricted to individuals who possess US citizenship

Qualifications We Prefer

  • Operations Management experience

  • Engine Depot Maintenance management experience

Onsite: Employees who are working in Onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance workers as they are essential to the development of our engines.

Candidates will learn more about role type and current site status throughout the recruiting process. For onsite and hybrid roles commuting to and from the assigned site is the employees personal responsibility.

The salary range for this role is 147000 USD 295000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education/training and key skills.
