Job Description
Production Process Engineer
The Position:
This fulltime position is for a handson Mechanical Engineer to join the Holographix team (Headwalls Optical Components & Assemblies business unit). Were seeking a versatile engineer with strong mechanical aptitude who can contribute to our continued growth. The ideal candidate will bring practical engineering skills and. This role requires the ability to manage multiple demonstrate eagerness to learn new technologies across several engineering disciplines responsibilities and adapt to our innovative environment.
Roles & Responsibilities:
New Product Development
- Perform replication of masters stampers and first articles with meticulous attention to detail
- Spearhead process development initiatives to ensure optimal product quality and manufacturing efficiency
- Collaborate between Engineering and Operations teams to bring new products online
Continuous Improvement
- Drive innovation by recommending and implementing process changes to enhance replication capabilities and yields
- Streamline replication labs and reduce operational footprint
Production Support
- Lead training and qualification of new hires on replication and adhesion promotion
- Ensure smooth transition of new products to production
- Serve as a technical resource to troubleshoot complex production challenges
- Manufacture production product
Experience and Education:
Required:
Bachelors degree in Mechanical Engineering or related technical field. In lieu of a bachelors degree: 10 years of direct experience.
Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
Ability to manage multiple responsibilities simultaneously
Adaptability and eagerness to learn new skills and technologies
