We have permanent vacancies for Assistant Cooks in Dunfermline working 25 hours per week Monday to Friday between 8:30am to 3:00pm as required on a 38week term time contract:
Duties within this school include preparation of food and beverages and the organisation of the service of food.
Duties may include transporting and serving of meals general kitchen and dining room duties (for example washing up setting up and clearing away equipment and tables) and cleaning of the kitchen its surround and equipment.
Completing required paperwork including electronic returns.

This work is about ensuring pupils and staff are provided with meals throughout the school day during term time covering Breakfast Morning Break and Lunch.
The Person
Catering Experience or a Qualification such as an SVQ City & Guilds or equivalent is required.
Before confirming your appointment you will be required to obtain Protection of Vulnerable Groups (PVG) scheme membership through Disclosure Scotland and become a member of the relevant PVG scheme.

You will be required to attend a full day of Induction Training before starting in post.
