Become part of EIFER and drive climate solutions where science meets industry.
EIFER seeks an Analyst (m/f/d) for German energy markets and regulation.
The position is based in Karlsruhe with a duration of initially 2 years starting as soon as possible.
Salary per TVL (100%).
Founded by EDF and KIT in 2002 EIFER bridges science and industry providing innovative energy solutions for a sustainable future.
- Policy Impact Analysis: Analyze the effects of German and European policies on energy markets businesses and consumers with a particular focus on market design.
- Collaborative Research: Work with a multidisciplinary multilingual team to shape the research agenda on policies.
- Academic Partnerships: Strengthen EIFERs academic partnerships in Germany and Europe.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Contribute to workshops client meetings and presentations of research findings.
- Scientific Contributions: Gain opportunities for scientific work and the dissemination of your findings.
- Masters degree in energy economics governance or engineering.
- 05 years relevant experience.
- Research methods and programming (e.g. Python).
- PhD is a plus.
- Knowledge of energy sector and political ecosystems.
- Fluent in German and English; French is a plus.
- Innovative Projects: Engage in impactful research shaping policy.
- Global Collaboration: Work in an international diverse team.
- Extensive Networks: Access local and international scientific networks.
- Diverse Projects: Participate in multidisciplinary energy and climate policy work.
