This is an ambitious mission and in order to accelerate the execution of this strategy and position towards our clients as a credible industry player providing digital and data services we have decided to create a strategic partnership with a world leading BigTech player Microsoft. Together with Microsoft we will embark on a 7 year journey to codevelop our most strategic client facing digital and data services of the future and modernise our existing platforms and technology. The partnership has been approved by the Euroclear board is cosponsored by both the Group Chief Business Officer and the Group Chief Information Officer.
The Digital Transformation team has been central to the establishment of this partnership and is now being expanded to grow the partnership and deliver to Euroclears strategic business objectives together with the partner. The team is mandated to take the full responsibility to manage the partnership from a business perspective and to deliver maximum impact to Euroclears business by improving time to value from dataenabled services reimagining the customer experience and transforming the business and culture to be digital and dataled with clients at the centre.
Role
We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced New Business Horizons Director. This is a truly strategic and senior role and will be responsible for identifying and developing new business and commercial opportunities in context of the strategic partnership. In this role you will be expected to drive the process of identifying funnelling and operationalizing new business ideas into the partnership with the aim of delivering to Euroclears strategic objectives across business lines. For this you will work closely with your manager and senior counterparts in the business organization to define opportunities to be explored as part of the partnership. You will also need to contribute to efforts between Microsoft and Euroclear to determine opportunities for collaboration with other industry stakeholders. You will drive the effort with partners stakeholders as well as internal senior stakeholders to further ensure that there is a clear scope ensure there is sufficient market view/problem supporting the need for the initiative build a financial business case. More importantly you will operationalize the opportunity to a project with Microsoft by ensuring clear definition of how the initiative would be executed clear business and financial objectives translated into a clear commercial agreement and kick off of the project. Finally you will setup a process to funnel such initiatives through the governance of the Partnership and ensure clear approvals and handover into the execution of the projects. This role is a transversal role that requires collaborative attitude and influencing skills to be able to advise and drive outcomes without being the business owner themselves. It requires the skills of an excellent senior product leader who not only understands the business and can work with others to identify opportunities but can also effectively understand how to structure these in context of a digital first partnership and most importantly make it really executable together with our colleagues from IT.
