Software Development Engineer III Full Stack - Applications

As a Software Engineer within our CILA Data & AI function you will play a pivotal role in building intelligent applications that transform how we operate and deliver value across our business. Working handson with leadingedge technologies including LLMs agent frameworks and generative AI youll develop scalable solutions that automate complex processes and extend capabilities beyond what humans can achieve manually.

Reporting to the Director CILA AI & Data Operations you will work closely with crossfunctional teams to drive innovation integrate AI into core operations and support the achievement of our bold ambition to become a worldclass data and AIdriven business for our customers across all regions and functions.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop AIpowered applications and services that integrate with our data platform and business systems
• Implement and optimize agentbased architectures leveraging LLMs and other AI components to automate complex workflows
• Build APIs and microservices that enable seamless integration between AI systems and existing business applications and underlying platforms
• Work with cloudbased infrastructure to deploy and scale AI solutions efficiently
• Collaborate with data engineers data scientists and business stakeholders to understand requirements and implement technical solutions that address specific business challenges
• Monitor application performance and implement improvements to enhance reliability and efficiency
• Apply software engineering best practices including CI/CD version control and automated testing
• Document code architecture and processes to ensure knowledge sharing across the team
• Troubleshoot and resolve technical issues working with crossfunctional teams when necessary
• Stay current with emerging technologies in AI and software development evaluating their potential application to business problems.

Qualifications :

Essential:

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science Software Engineering or related field or equivalent practical experience
• At least 34 years of handson experience in software engineering roles
• Proficiency in modern programming languages such as Go Python JavaScript/TypeScript or Java
• Experience with API development and microservices architectures
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS Azure or GCP) and associated services
• Understanding of software development best practices including version control CI/CD and testing
• Experience with containerization technologies (Docker Kubernetes)
• Familiarity with modern web frameworks and frontend technologies
• Good understanding of database technologies and data processing
• Experience with RESTful APIs and other integration patterns
• Experience with DevOps practices and tools
• Familiarity with LLMs generative AI or agent frameworks
• Strong problemsolving skills and attention to detail
