Job Description

IMC currently has openings in our Emergency Department for Registered Nurses (RN) on a Full Time and PRN basis. The Emergency Department RN is under the general supervision of the Unit Director and with the authority of the Chief Nursing Officer will apply nursing process (assessment planning intervention and evaluation) in caring for patients. Effectively interact with patient significant others and other heath team members. Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care based on physical psycho/social education safety and related criteria for the newborn pediatric adolescent adult and geriatric population.
EDUCATION
- Graduate of state approved RN School of Nursing.
TRAINING/EXPERIENCE
- Previous experience preferred but not required.
JOB KNOWLEDGE
- Basic knowledge of nursing process and principles
- Basic knowledge of biologyand chemistry.
- Basic knowledge of anatomy and physiology.
- Thorough knowledge of nursing procedures.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other team members.
