Full time temp to hire
Position Contents Specialist $1820/hr Monday thru Friday 7am3:30pm
Recovery of electronics clothing and textiles damaged by smoke fire water and mold.
Sort through items both on site and at warehouse to determine the ability to salvage and restore through laundry dry cleaning and specialty cleaning methods.
Inventory & Test electronics prior to cleaning.
Take apart & clean inside and outside of electronics.
The Contents Technician is part of the Content Cleaning & Restoration team often completing daily operation tasks to bring jobs to completion including distinguishing salvageable vs nonsalvageable items affected by fire smoke water mold trauma & other factors and packaging/and assisting in the transport of those items to company facility for cleaning and storage; to be returned to customer upon job completion.
As a Contents Technician you will:
Distinguish between salvageable and nonsalvageable items
Utilize technology and software necessary to perform job
Assist in moving customer contents to storage facility
Perform using proper procedures including but not limited to:
Inventory and itemize in thorough detail the affected contents
Clean and process affected contents
Repackage cleaned contents
Pack and haul customer contents to be returned upon job completion
Be proactive in communicating with staff homeowners Technicians Estimator Management and other team members
Represent the company in a professional manner
Project empathy and sympathy in difficult situations
Requirements:
Good communication skills
Current Valid Drivers License (Required)
Clear driving record and insurable (Required)
Ability to work as part of a team and be a contributing team member
Willing to submit and ability to pass a criminal background check drug test and motor vehicle history check
Physical Requirements:
Ability to lift 60 lbs
Ability to work in various environments indoors outdoors inclement weather smoke or other hazards of a demolition or remodeling environment
Reliability and strong work ethic
Long periods of standing and/or sitting
Bending stooping sitting crouching walking lifting carrying standing stair ascension and descent reaching climbing pushing pulling and more as required for each job.
