The base pay range for this role is estimated to be $30 $35.50 at the time of posting. Final compensation will be determined by various factors such as work location education experience knowledge and skills.
Tasks and Qualifications:
What You Will Do In This Role
- Repair and maintain Material Handling Equipment (MHE) including belt tracking component adjustment/replacement and component lubrication.
- Complete preventative maintenance routines documentation and procedures ensuring strict adherence to our quality standards.
- Apply electrical test equipment for troubleshooting electrical circuitry and effectively implement solutions.
- Build and close work orders in the asset management system with comprehensive data including labor hours equipment maintenance and parts used.
- Troubleshoot semicomplex problems determining the resources needed to resolve them efficiently.
- Locate and supervise spare parts from inventory ensuring availability for all necessary repairs.
- Perform routine maintenance and equipment testing to guarantee they meet our stringent specifications.
- Respond to service calls addressing equipment failures and faults promptly.
- Identify problems as they occur and take appropriate steps to resolve them.
- Develop and maintain positive working relationships across all levels of the organization encouraging an environment of collaboration and support.
What We Are Looking For
- High School diploma or equivalent experience required. An Associates degree or specialized skill training/certification is preferred.
- General knowledge of a technical or specialty area.
- Proven experience in a similar role with successful demonstration of responsibilities as outlined.
- Ability to lift and move material up to 50 pounds.
- Regular bending lifting stretching and reaching both below the waist and above the head.
- Occasionally push and pull wheeled dollies loaded with products up to 100 pounds.
- Functional dexterity in both hands and wrists.
- Ability to climb ladders and gangways safely and without limitation.
- Job may involve tight spaces dust fumes temperature variations noise vibration standing on concrete and wet surfaces.
- Ability to stand/walk for up to 1012 hours.
- Flexibility to cover multiple shifts and holiday hours as needed.
