Sodexo Live! is currently hiring Event Houseman for the Summer 2025 season at the New England Aquarium in Boston MA!

New England Aquarium Information:
The New England Aquarium is a nonprofit research and conservation organization that has protected and cared for our ocean and marine animals for more than 50 years. The New England Aquarium is a catalyst for global change through public engagement and education.
Event Houseman Responsibilities:
- Responsible for executing the preparation setup and breakdown of event areas/meeting spaces moving furniture and equipment lifting heavy objects such as chairs tables and dance floor sections and pushing/pulling carts and all other duties as determined by the Catering & Operations Manager.
- The Houseman interacts with guest and maintains the cleanliness of work areas and equipment in accordance with Health Department standards & fire codes from the City of Boston.
- Previous experience as a banquet/event porter preferred but not required.
- Requires the ability to work consistently on feet and communicate with others in a team environment.
- Must have the ability to multitask and work in a fastpaced environment with prolonged walking/standing.
- Must have the ability to lift up to 50 lbs. at a time.
