Job Description
Project Coordinator
Purpose: As a project coordinator you will work to support the project management and field teams where needed to ensure smooth execution of projects including plumbing HVAC and electrical scopes of work. This role is ideal for someone who is flexible proactive and committed to serving the needs of the project team which may include documentation management coordination with internal and external stakeholders and resolving daytoday project challenges. Successful project coordinators display a willingness to adapt to the changing needs of each project and are able to identify where support is needed and will be most valuable.
Responsibilities:
- Help manage submittals through approvals
- Maintain an effective relationship with field personnel
- Report on job progress to upper management and other departments
- Ensure projects maintain a high quality of installation through effective leadership
- Assist in operations to include budget subcontractor agreements and pay submittals change orders and material coordination
- Assist in accruals and billing for each scope of work
- Instill company values in direct and indirect reports
Qualifications:
- Complex problem solving skills
- Negotiation and conflict resolution
- General computer proficiency
- Multitasking and time management abilities
- Excellent communication skills to be used when working with builders general contractors and project managers
- Leadership skills and the ability to empower individuals on your team
- Strong work ethic and ability to take initiative
- Ability to be flexible and work under pressure
