Who We Are: Fisher Associates P.E. L.S. L.A. D.P.C is a multidisciplinary design services firm headquartered in Rochester NY with eight locations nationwide. The firm provides civil/site engineering transportation engineering electrical engineering landscape architecture architecture planning environmental surveying GIS construction inspection precast engineering and construction engineering services to public and private sector clients across numerous markets. All services are delivered through the firms signature Clientship philosophy which emphasizes not only customized innovative quality solutions but also an exceptional client experience driven by clear communication deep expertise and proactive client advocacy.


Essential Functions:

  • Assist in the programming site planning zoning research and preliminary land use analysis to support integrated project site and building design solutions.
  • Create highquality presentation materials diagrams renderings and graphic studies for internal and client review.
  • Advance architectural design concepts through all project phases from schematic design to construction documents.
  • Contribute to quality control efforts by reviewing drawings for accuracy consistency and constructability.
  • Manage multiple tasks and deadlines efficiently supporting overall project schedules and team workflows.
  • Ensure compliance with building codes zoning regulations and accessibility standards throughout the design process.
  • Assist in the construction administration phase by reviewing shop drawings and creating a master log of the project submittals as well as answering Request for Information (RFI) and Supplemental Information (SI) and preparation of change directives.
  • Collaborate closely with project teams consultants and stakeholders to ensure cohesive and coordinated development of the design.
  • Perform other related duties as assigned to support Housing & Community Design compliance and project success.

Salary Range: $75000 $95000 annually


Actual compensation may vary based on relevant experience qualifications/education and other factors. The salary range is not necessarily reflective of the actual total compensation that may be earned nor promises any specific pay for any specific employee. Salary range excludes monetary value of benefits.



Requirements

Education & Experience

  • Bachelors degree in Architecture or a related field from an accredited university
  • 5 years minimum of professional architectural and project design preferred. License preferred.
  • Proficient in MS Office programs
  • Experience with and proficiency with a variety of computer software including AutoCAD; Revit Adobe Creative Suite (Illustrator InDesign Photoshop) and Microsoft Office (Word Excel PowerPoint). Knowing Sketchup and Blue Beam is a plus (but not a must).

  • Strong ability to plan and create effective design solutions
  • Excellent analytical research and presentation skills
  • Ability to review and interpret building and zoning codes.
  • Strong understanding of Smart Growth principals and good community design practices
