Position Description: Reporting to the Facilities Supervisor as the Facilities Coordinator you will assist in maintenance and operations of buildings in Kitchener. Stewarding resources to ensure high standards of quality in our infrastructure sites and services while maintaining strong working relationships with program staff and tenants alike.

Hours of Work: Full Time 40hours per week primarily weekdays. Participation in the oncall 24/7 rotation schedule is required every 46 weeks.
What you will be doing:
- Responding to maintenance and repair needs throughout Indwells buildings in Kitchener focusing primarily at our Magnolia Apartments program/building
- Documentingwork orders updating status and completion dates as requiredin Yardi(Indwellsproperty management software)
- Performingrepairsupgradesand cleaning to ensure that vacated apartments are ready for new tenantsas part of turnoverprocess
- Completingmonthly inspections and preventative maintenance
- Performing tasks such as painting drywall patching repairs to plumbing and electricalfixtures
- Coordinating pickupand delivery of materials from suppliers
- Being aware of and following all agency policies andprocedures
- Additional duties asassigned
What you will bring:
- A familiarity and compassion for individuals who have experiencedmental health concerns and/or substance use
- Relevant experience in tradesconstructionor property maintenance
- 5years of experiencein property management maintenance or facility operations
- Working at Heights Training
- Your proficiency in using a variety of tools and equipment
- Familiarity and comfort being around individuals with a mental health diagnosis and/or addiction is beneficial
- Effective communication via various means ( emailoffice 365 suite)
- Ability to stand stoop kneel walkandlift heavy objects (up to 25 kilograms)as work involves moderate to heavy work in all types of weather
- A team player who is committed to upholding and modeling the standards set out in the organizations Mission Statement and other operating standards and policies
- Familiarity and comfort being around individuals with a mental health diagnosis and/or addiction is beneficial
- A Valid G class drivers license and access to vehicle recommended
