Are you an enthusiastic and experienced Clinical Nurse looking for a new position
Sunnybank Private Hospital is seeking experienced nurses to join our Medical Ward. We currently have fulltime and parttime positions available. You will play a key role within the supportive team in ensuring high level and standard of patient care is provided.
Sunnybank Private Hospital is an evolving facility that has provided care to the local community for over 40 years and continually embraces the highest quality of holistic patient care. Recently undergoing a significant redevelopment our facility has new consulting suites operating theatres day surgery endoscopy suites as well as refurbished surgical unit day oncology unit. The facility is compromised of 120 in patient beds 7 operating theatres 2 procedures room and an ICU.
As the Clinical Nurse your responsibilities will include:
- Deliver qualitynursing care by Assessing Planning Implementing and evaluating individual patient care
- Provide a standard of care according to the individuals level of experience and education maintaining high quality nursing care within a safe environment
- Develop and utilise strategies that encourage an atmosphere conducive to effective communication
- Work in partnership with patients and families in decisionmaking regarding provision of care promoting beneficial relationships
Essential Criteria:
- Current Registration with AHPRA
- Minimum of 5 years nursing experience inmedical/rehab
- Demonstrated ability to deliver high quality patient care and education to patients
- Highly developed interpersonal and communication skills
- Commitment to ongoing personal and professional development
- Demonstrated experience providing leadership and education to the nursing team
- Demonstrate professional development and a portfolio holder
- Understanding of the Australian National Commission in Quality and Safety National Standards
- Demonstrate the ability to show initiative and work within a team environment
- FIM Qualification Desirable
