Hastings Deering are seeking a Laboratory Assistant to join our awardwinning team in Archerfield Brisbane.
This is a maternity leave cover role working 5 days over a fortnight. You will work three (3) days in week 1 and two (2) days in week 2 for a total of 7.6 hours per shift. We are flexible on what days you decide to work!
The role is for a fixed term period of 12 months.
As an Assistant you will:
- Collect samples from designated collection points within the premises
- Unpack and sort samples
- Assign label numbers appropriately
- Register samples including data entry
- Card scanning
- Housekeeping and general equipment maintenance
- Dispose of samples
- Receive stock
- Display care in the use of company instrumentation tools and property
- Analysis of routine samples as designated
