About the Role
Were seeking a skilled Fitter Operator to join our Stapylton Cans Plant. This is a fulltime permanent role on a Day shift Monday Friday.
Reporting to the Manufacturing Manager youll play a vital role in keeping our plant running smoothly and safely.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preventative and breakdown maintenance on production machinery.
- Operating a production line to ensure minimal downtime.
- Set up and fine tuning of machines for optimal productivity.
- Work with highspeed manufacturing equipment understanding production demands.
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives and lean manufacturing.
What Youll Bring
- Mechanical Fitter trade qualification or similar trade with maintenance fitting experience.
- Strong experience in preventative and breakdown maintenance in manufacturing environments.
- Willingness to operate a production line and work with production team.
- Passion for your trade and commitment to improvements.
- A proactive attitude and commitment to safety.
