Job Description

The National Association of State Departments of Agriculture (NASDA) is hiring enumerators to collect crop and livestock information from farm operators and agricultural industry representatives. This information is used to make estimates of agricultural data utilized by producers buyers and state and federal governments.

This is a great job for people who enjoy interviewing farmers and want the flexibility to plan their day. Data is collected through both phone and inperson interviews. An agricultural background is very helpful. Applicants need basic computer skills as all work is submitted on an iPad. You must have a valid drivers license and a reliable vehicle with automotive insurance. All training is provided and paid.

The work is parttime and intermittent with flexible days and hours. The number of hours worked per week can vary greatly depending on the surveys being conducted the type of agriculture in your area and the amount of work assigned. Weekly hours can range from 0 in some weeks to 20 in others and rarely more. Enumerators are limited to a maximum of 375 hours per quarter.

The pay range starts at $17.75 per hour with opportunities for increases. In addition you will receive mileage reimbursement sick leave and cell phone payments.

I am currently hiring in the following counties: Yamhill Tillamook Polk and Marion.
