Job description
We are seeking a dedicated and skilled Laborer(Must be bilingual) to join one of our clients team in a lumber yard facility. The ideal candidate will have a strong work ethic.
Responsibilities
Assisting customers with selecting lumber and other building materials answering questions and providing excellent customer service.
Sorting stacking and pulling lumber based on size and type.
Maintaining adequate inventory pulling special orders and ensuring proper storage and organization of lumber and other materials.
Loading and unloading shipments including customer vehicles and delivery trucks.
Maintaining a clean organized and safe outside yard including clearing obstructions and ensuring proper stacking and storage techniques.
Building outgoing orders for lumber and building materials often using forklifts.
Operating forklift.
Experience
Physical strength and stamina.
Bilingual (Spanish/ English)
Ability to operate machinery.
Knowledge of safety procedures.
Communication and customer service skills.
Organizational skills.
Basic math skills for measuring and calculating quantities.
Job Types: Fulltime Temptohire
Pay: $14.00 $15.00 per hour
