The Labor Services (aka Moves and Installations) business unit reports to the Distribution Manager at Supply Chain Management Logistics who in turn reports to the Director of SCM Logistics.
The business lines within SCM Logistics are alcohol and medical compressed gas commodities cross docking top volume commodity sales asset storage that includes freezer farm services incoming and outgoing mail services surplus collection and reallocation disbursement and labor services (i.e. office relocations installation services equipment delivery storage pickup and delivery etc).
The truck driver position exists to provide for the safe transport and delivery of items to and from the Oyster Point Warehouse serving all the various university locations. Additionally drivers may provide any of the following services: office moves or reconfigurations furniture and equipment assembly installations surplus and storage pickup and delivery medical cylinder alcohol cross dock and mail pickup and delivery view upcoming customer jobs work with handheld warehouse management devices etc.
The final salary and offer components are subject to additional approvals based on UC policy.
Your placement within the salary range is dependent on a number of factors including your work experience and internal equity within this position classification at UCSF. For positions that are represented by a labor union placement within the salary range will be guided by the rules in the collective bargaining agreement.
The salary range for this position is $30.09 $40.51 (Hourly Rate).
