Job Description

Job Title: Director of Administrative Services
Department: Executive
Shift: Monday Friday 8:00 am 5:00 pm
FullTime / PartTime: FullTime
Classification: Exempt
Reports to: Chief Executive Officer

Summary/Objective

The Director of Administrative Services is responsible for overseeing and managing the administrative functions of the organization ensuring efficient and effective operational support.


Essential Functions

  • Set comprehensive goals for performance and growth
  • Establish policies that promote company culture and vision
  • Oversee daily operations of administrative departments
  • Collaborate closely with executives across departments such as Marketing Sales Finance Laboratory IT and others.
  • Lead employees to encourage maximum performance and dedication
  • Evaluate performance by analyzing and interpreting data and metrics
  • Write and submit reports to the CEO in all matters of importance
  • Contribute to expansion efforts including investments acquisitions and corporate alliances.
  • Play an active role in the project management of key organizational initiatives.
  • Oversee and assess the effectiveness of ongoing strategic partnerships and vendor relationships.
  • Partner with executives to support the development and ongoing management of the administrative budget.
  • Serves as a member of the organizations key administrative decisionmaking and planning body.

Minimum Job Requirements

  • Proven experience as Director of Administrative Services or relevant role Healthcare setting preferred.
  • BSc/BA in Business Administration or relevant field; MSc/MBA is a plus
  • Proven expertise in strategic planning and business development.
  • Proficient in business infrastructure data analysis and performance/operations metrics.
  • Demonstrated strong organizational and leadership capabilities.
  • Professional and tactful interpersonal skills with the ability to interact with a variety of personalities along with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Aptitude in decisionmaking problemsolving and project management
  • Highly skilled in Microsoft Office Suite with advanced expertise in Excel or related software.

Work Environment

This position operates in an office environment and involves frequent time spent at a desk using a computer. This position works individually as well as with peers and supervisors frequently.


Physical Demands

The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. While performing duties of this job the employee is regularly required to talk or hear. The employee frequently is required to stand walk use hands to finger handle or feel and reach with hands and arms. The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 10 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision distance vision color vision peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus.
