Description

Securities Settlement Operations is a core service provided by Euroclear. Our mission is to ensure the smooth and timely exchange of securities on secondary markets between Euroclear Banks clients and their counterparties both within and outside Euroclear Bank.

Role Overview:

As a member of the Securities Settlement Client Services team your primary responsibility will be to interact and communicate with external clients by handling written queries regarding the settlement of their securities transactions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Handle client inquiries via phone email and chat ensuring highquality and accurate responses.
  • Build strong relationships with clients by analyzing their inquiries and identifying opportunities to enhance process efficiency.
  • Collaborate with various internal departments to provide effective and timely responses to client queries.
  • Support clients during contingency situations.
  • Contribute to team efforts to achieve key metrics collectively.
  • Actively participate in process improvements to ensure excellent client service and satisfaction.
  • Develop strong working partnerships with internal stakeholders across Commercial and Operations.
  • Communicate client constraints to Operations and follow up on related initiatives.
  • Promote a culture of risk management and continuous improvement within Client Services and Operations processes.

Your Profile:

  • Fluent in English (spoken and written) as it is our corporate language.
  • Clientfocused attitude with excellent communication skills.
  • Comfortable handling phone interactions applying tone of voice principles (empathy timeliness smile).
  • Skilled and respectful in dealing with clients anticipating their needs and proposing solutions within policies and procedures.
  • Ensure timely and accurate followup on all client needs.
  • Proactively communicate client needs across the department/division or company/group establishing and maintaining effective relationships with clients to gain their trust and respect.
  • Riskaware and respectful in all situations.
  • Open to challenges and capable of producing accurate work.
  • Resilient to stress and able to meet deadlines in a fastpaced environment.
  • A genuine team player.
