Job Summary
The Sensor Controls & Electronics (SCE) Department in Electrical Engineering at Raytheon is seeking an electrical engineering leader with experience in engineering management design test and integration. The SCE Section Leader will have advanced technical knowledge in a relevant area of electrical engineering and an understanding of the impact of this work on other areas of the organization. In addition the candidate should demonstrate organizational communication and interpersonal skills.
What You Will Do
Manage a section of 15 to 20electrical engineers
Resource and manpower planning career development of employees performance and appraisal evaluations develop training curricula technical mentoring and leadership skill development
Technical problem solving project leadership proposal writing pursuing new business managing budgets/schedules and leading organizational initiatives
Work closely with other section leaders department leadersprogram management office senior leaders senior staff engineers systems engineers and other development team members
Qualifications You Must Have
Requires a Bachelors of Science in Electrical Engineering or equivalent STEM degree
Minimum 8 years of relevant electrical engineering experience
Experience leading functional or crossdisciplinary teams to meet organizational goals and project needs
Demonstrated technical expertise in digital signal processing FPGA design CCA design COTS development integration and test of radar hardware and/or system architecture
The ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. government issued security clearance is required. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance
Qualifications We Value
Knowledge of modeling and simulation tools such as Saber PSpice LTSpice or similar
Experience with circuit card design in Mentor Graphics Xpedition or similar
Experience with FPGA design using VHDL and/or Verilog
Knowledge of Earned Value Management Systems
Willingness to support occasional domestic travel and potential international travel
Experience on the Patriot program

The salary range for this role is 101000 USD 203000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
