Integrated Air & Missile Defense Systems (IAMDS) department is seeking a Principal IAMDS Section Leader. IAMDS leads all aspects of Systems Engineering that drive the development of complex systems to support the Raytheon Land and Air Defense Systems (LADS) mission area from our Tewksbury MA and Andover MA locations. The IAMDS department supports Raytheon by cultivating a worldclass group of systems thinkers who work together as a team to architect technical solutions to some of the worlds toughest challenges.
This position is onsite in Tewksbury MA
What You will Do:
The Section Leader will perform daytoday management of a group of multidisciplinary system engineers with the primary responsibility of ensuring that each employee has suitable work assignments and opportunities for growth and advancement. Management duties include performance development and appraisal salary planning manpower planning career coaching and ensuring adherence to company policies. Candidates will contribute to the technical oversight of employees monitor program execution and provide radar system subject matter expertise in direct support of program efforts and proposal activities.
Qualifications You Must Have:
Typically requires a Bachelors in Science Technology Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) and 8 years of prior relevant experience
Experience in empowering employees leading and motivating teams and fostering collaboration
Experience of managing multiple and competing priorities
Active US security clearance
Qualifications We Prefer:
Advanced degree in EE CE Physics Math ME Aerospace
Experience of radar systems
Experience in a functional or leadership role
Experience of effectively interacting with subordinates customers and other organizations and disciplines
